PARTY LIKE A POP STAR AS LIPS: NUMBER ONE HITS COMES TO XBOX

Wannabe rappers, disco divas, pop princesses and indeed anyone who’s up for a good time, should start warming their vocal chords now, as the long-awaited singing game ‘Lips: Number One Hits’ comes to Xbox 360 on October 23.

Previewed in central London tonight with an exclusive performance by James Morrison of his number one hit ‘Broken Strings’ – just one of countless chart topping numbers in the game – Lips: Number One Hits is set to be the biggest singing title of the year, guaranteed to get anyone with an inner pop star dancing around the living room this Christmas and beyond.

With a recommended retail price of £34.99 (£49.99 bundled with mics) “Lips: Number One Hits” features 40 of the biggest and best chart smashes spanning the last 20 years including hits from Coldplay, Rhianna, Culture Club, MC Hammer, Mariah Carey, Scissor Sisters, Lily Allen, Pet Shop Boys, plus many more. All songs come complete with the music videos too, to create an audio visual experience that can be enjoyed by everyone time and time again.

Lips, which was released last October, is the only music video game that comes with two wireless motion-sensitive microphones, allowing you the freedom to put your own spin on a song and not trip over any cumbersome wires as you dance around your living room. You can even get other people involved in your songs by having them playing percussion with your Xbox 360 controllers. Lips: Number One Hits uses the same mics meaning anyone with the original game and start the fun right away without any need to buy any additional kit.

It doesn’t stop there. “Lips” also has exciting features like the ability to compete against your friends or family and a co-operative element that allows you to try and crack the song together.

From October thousands of wannabe popstars across the nation will have the chance to sing their favourite songs on Lips: Number One Hits in Xbox video pods set up in shopping centres, university campuses, and gig venues. People who think they have the X-Factor will be entering the chance to win a major nationwide competition. For more information visit www.singwithlips.com.
